Sterling silver - will tarnish with time and wear. To care for your sterling silver items, clean with a reputable sterling silver cleaning cloth. A heavy build up of residue on patterned silver pieces may be removed with gentle cleaning from a very soft small brush and warm soapy water.
Costume jewellery - direct contact with sprays such as hairspray, perfumes, deodorants or chemicals and salt water may cause damage to costume jewellery.
Never wear jewellery in the bath, bed or when exercising, this will cause discolouration and may damage your jewellery through unreasonable stress and wear and tear.
When not being worn, jewellery should be carefully stored. Individual pieces should be stored separately to avoid scratching, protect the items by wrapping in soft fabric or sponge and should then be stored in darkness to slow down the tarnishing process.
If you follow the simple guidelines your jewellery should be in perfect condition for you to enjoy wearing again and again.
